class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Danilo ha spolverato la sua divisa per indossarla in un giorno bellissimo che ricorder\u00e0 per la vita. Scommetto che, almeno per un\u2019attimo, qualche bagliore del passato sar\u00e0 scintillato sui galloni dorati. Forse qualche scintilla avr\u00e0 lasciato qualche bruciatura, non tutta la storia, o le storie, della Marina possono essere gloriose, per\u00f2, la scelta di accompagnare Virginia all\u2019altare in uniforme \u00e8 il segno di un legame forte tra la vita e quella divisa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Sono sicuro che, tra quei bagliori, ci sia stato qualche luccichio anche per i ricordi legati ai mesi trascorsi, tutti insieme, sotto il pennone del brigantino. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Poi\u2026il tempo e le cose della vita ci hanno preso l\u2019anima, ma l\u2019incontro per il quarantesimo ha dimostrato che il cuore \u00e8 rimasto\u2026libero!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Il matrimonio di Virginia rimane un fatto che le appartiene, ma quella divisa, ben portata da pap\u00e0, lo ha reso anche nostro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ancora dividiamo i nostri accadimenti, a volte gioiosi e a volte tristi, come fanno i migliori amici. La partecipazione ci unisce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Siamo invecchiati, e questa \u00e8 una fortuna, pertanto nessuno se ne avr\u00e0 se, guardando Danilo nella sua divisa, mai invecchiata, mi sono specchiato nel tempo ricordando i visi, gli schiamazzi, la gioia e le aspettative di quegli allievi fieri della prima tacca dorata sulla manica,fieri della loro non poteva essere: una Citroen, credo, super molleggiata e disegnata con l\u2019accetta.<\/p>\n<p>Tuo padre mi \u00e8 sempre sembrato un uomo severo, oggi, con il viso scarno e quel cappellino buffo, mi fa teneramente sorridere pensandolo come un vecchio saggio tibetano.<br \/>\nAnche lui sta sorridendo, dolcemente e un po\u2019 tristemente\u2026.\u00e8 una caratteristica delle persone anziane quella di avere un sorriso sospeso tra nostalgia, stanchezza e affetto.<br \/>\nUn musicista, come tuo padre \u00e8 stato, deve essere severo per sfruttare le poche righe del pentagramma ma, combinando suoni e pause, muove tutta la gamma dei sentimenti e colora il mondo.<br \/>\nGi\u00e0 da qualche anno ho perso mio padre, tra le cose che ricordo di lui ci sono quelle strimpellate con la sua inseparabile chitarra!<br \/>\nLa generazione che ha visto gli orrori della guerra e che ha ricostruito il Paese, sembra avere in comune (dilettanti o professionisti) la passione per la regalarono una femmina di Labrador, per l\u2019appunto una giocherellona da biscotti.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Poco tempo dopo, un meticcio \u2014 come \u201crazza\u201d, ben bastardo come indole \u2014 riusc\u00ec a entrare in giardino per far guai. Eva, cos\u00ec si chiamava la temibile guardiana di casa, partor\u00ec Brina: una cagnolina a pelo raso, grigio scuro, con zampette cortissime che faticavano a reggere il corpo massiccio\u2026 onestamente, sembrava una foca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Io avrei preferito chiamarla Nebbia o Smog. Se non proprio Foca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Madre e figlia scorrazzavano in giardino, pur con il limite imposto da un reticolato a protezione della piscina, dove avrebbero voluto nuotare. Ogni volta che mi tuffavo, si ripeteva la scena: abbai disperati e corse sfrenate, su e gi\u00f9, come a volermi salvare.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Mio padre, negli ultimi anni, usciva raramente da casa, se non per gli appuntamenti con il tanto amato \u201cCoro di Gavirate\u201d. speranza\u2026onore ad un grande marinaio!<\/p>\n<p>La ricorrenza del nostro quarantesimo \u00e8 un evento lieto e cos\u00ec rimarr\u00e0, ma il cuore non pu\u00f2 dimenticare che la celebrazione coincide con i quarant\u2019anni da quello schianto sul Monte Serra, dove 38 allievi dell\u2019Accademia Navale, un ufficiale e 5 membri d\u2019equipaggio, persero la vita a bordo di un C-130 della 46^ Aerobrigata di Pisa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Non flutti di tempesta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ne un soverchio nemico<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ma il destino Savoia.<\/em><\/h3>\n<h4>Il Rex fu il primo transatlantico ad avere tutte quelle innovazioni che ne facevano un\u2019autentica nave da crociera: cabine di lusso con veranda privata, aria condizionata, vasti ponti per lo sport e lidi grandi e immacolati con due piscine, centro benessere, garage con accesso drive-in direttamente dalla banchina.<br \/>\nDa un punto di vista tecnologico, il Rex \u00e8 ricordato per essere stato una delle primissime navi al mondo dotate di prora a bulbo; la sua straordinaria carena, studiata presso la vasca navale di Amburgo, era stata ottimizzata copiando le sue forme da quelle della trota. Il Rex fu un mix di tradizione e innovazione: all\u2019esterno presentava linee aggraziate e filanti, tipiche dello streamline e dell\u2019industrial design anni Trenta, mentre gli interni erano pi\u00f9 conservatori e ispirati agli stili storici pi\u00f9 classici. Da notare che fu anche una delle ultime navi con poppa a clipper; soluzione questa che soluzione, per quanto d\u00e9mod\u00e9, era stata scelta per ottenere una maggiore superficie dei lidi poppieri a Nagasaki. This attack was code-named Operation Meetinghouse by the USAAF and is known as the Great Tokyo Air Raid in Japan.[1] During the raid, bombs dropped from 279 Boeing B-29 Superfortress heavy bombers burned out much of eastern Tokyo. More than 88,000 and possibly over 100,000 Japanese, mostly civilians, were killed and one million left homeless, making it the single most destructive air attack of World War II. The Japanese air and civil defenses proved inadequate, and only 14 American aircraft and 96 airmen were lost.<\/p>\n<p>The attack on Tokyo was an intensification of the air raids on Japan which had commenced in June 1944. Prior to this operation, the USAAF had focused on a precision bombing campaign against Japanese industrial facilities. These attacks were generally unsuccessful, which contributed to the decision to shift to firebombing. The operation during the early hours of 10 March was the first major firebombing raid against a Japanese city, and the USAAF units employed significantly different tactics than those used in precision raids including bombing by night.
