The term “classic car” is usually used to describe vehicles over 30 years old. Vintage cars are therefore not only well-kept collector’s items, but also vehicles whose appearance well reflects age.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For many car enthusiasts the real charm of vintage cars lies in the restoration. Around the world, vintage car shows are organized where enthusiasts can exhibit their own. In German we speak of “oldtimer”, but of the English-speaking countries this expression is not used. In the English-speaking countries for vintage cars the terms “classic car”, “vintage car” or “veteran car” are used. Even in German-speaking countries we often speak “Veteran” as a synonym for vintage cars ..<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’espressione “auto d’epoca” viene di solito utilizzata per descrivere veicoli che hanno pi\u00f9 di 30 anni. Auto d’epoca non sono quindi solamente pezzi da collezione ben curati, ma anche veicoli il cui aspetto ben rispecchia l’et\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Per molti appassionati di auto il vero fascino delle auto d\u0092epoca sta nel restauro. In tutto il mondo vengono organizzate mostre di auto d\u0092epoca dove gli appassionati possono esporre la propria. In tedesco si parla di “oldtimer”, ma dei paesi di lingua inglese tale espressione non viene usata. Nei paesi anglofoni per auto d\u0092epoca vengono utilizzate le espressioni “classic car”, “vintage car” o “veteran car”. Anche nei paesi di lingua tedesca si parla spesso si “Veteran” come sinonimo di auto d’epoca..<\/p>\n
