An inline-four cylinders engine mounted transversely at the front of the car, and a compact transmission unit right beside it delivering the power to the front wheels. The <\/span>Autobianchi Primula<span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\"> first introduced this configuration in 1964, thanks to Ingegner <\/span>Giacosa<span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\"> yet only a select few cognoscenti know about it.
