He touched, with calm benevolence, even difficult historical periods for everyone and paid homage to the heritage of the Bel Paese. He sealed the friendship of the English people towards Italy without falling into rhetoric &#8230; but with the right amount of solemnity and polite lightness.<br \/>\n&#8221; &#8230; we returned to see the stars again &#8221; he concluded his speech using, from the Divine Comedy, the last verse of the &#8216;Inferno: he gave a positive message to all of Europe!<br \/>\nIt took an English king to make Italians reflect on the artistic and natural beauties that we possess and to call out those who would deny history or destroy our heritage!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b><i>Forse non sono pochi quelli che non amano i re e le regine, forse sono tanti quelli che hanno sbeffeggiato questo re anziano, gi\u00e0 tanto coinvolto in passato nel gossip e in qualche scivolone\u2026ma questo re, ieri, ha fatto un discorso al nostro Parlamento citando Dante e ricordando a tutti noi italiani la nostra storia! Ha toccato,con pacata benevolenza, anche periodi storici difficili per tutti e ha reso omaggio al patrimonio del Bel Paese.
