Ho camminato su colori antichi e disegni moderni nel sorriso della luce e nella geometrica follia, ho scoperto emozioni e sogni realizzabili nell’incanto di favole nuove e possibili.
Quel fortino di ricordi è nei miei pensieri come l’aria fresca che soffiava sul piazzale il mattino presto, come il vento che faceva alzare i tendaggi della camerata e come la tramontana che faceva tremare le gambe al passaggio in crocetta della coffa del brigantino. I ricordi sono venti di mare e di terra che danzano in quelle mura e nei nostri cuori: la tramontana e il grecale che portano il gelo nell’anima e il ricordo di chi non è più con noi, il libeccio che con la sua forza apre il cielo e il coraggio dei marinai. Venti di mare e di terra che soffiano, e soffieranno, nel cuore di nuovi marinai.
Sono quarantaquattro, amici miei, gli anni dei ricordi comuni! Un abbraccio e un pensiero…
La splendida Basilica della Salute caratterizza lo scenario del bacino di San Marco a Venezia da più di trecento anni, testimonianza autorevole dell’altissima spiritualità che segnò il Seicento veneziano.
La basilica fu voluta dalla Serenissima come preghiera e come ringraziamento alla Vergine Madre di Dio per preservare la città di Venezia dalla terribile peste del XVII secolo.
Oggi una tremenda pandemia è tornata a destabilizzare la tranquilla area di conforto in cui gran parte dell’umanità si cullava: luttuosa e preoccupante come da anni il mondo non sperimentava.
La Chiesa non ha innalzato basiliche, anche perché non siamo ancora “fuori” dal pericolo, ma ha partecipato al dolore e condiviso tangibili atti di carità.
Anche per me, che soffro un po’ dell’allergia per “il fumo delle candele”, è stato un momento di commozione il solitario pellegrinaggio di Francesco nella Capitale vuota, anche se molti fedeli avranno misurato la propria fede chiedendosi perché Dio permetta tanta sofferenza.
Io non mi sono arrabbiato con Dio o con il destino, bensì con i teatrini televisivi, dove abbiamo sentito di tutto e di più, con l’unico risultato di aver fatto perdere la fede nella scienza a tanti cristiani…e pagani.
Credenti o meno, non possiamo discutere il cambiamento avvenuto nella Chiesa e il continuo cammino verso “il popolo di Dio.” Un cammino che parte da prospettive culturali variegate e attraversa epoche storiche diverse, spesso, accompagnato da conflitti con la Scienza.
Ho assistito, via internet, al convegno “COVID, PREVENZIONE E IMPRUDENZA” organizzato da Monsignor Antonino Raspanti, Vescovo di Acireale: un evento che è riuscito, con la chiarezza del Professor Bruno Cacopardo, a spazzare dubbi e paure che i media, legati al cosiddetto mainstream, non erano riusciti a dissipare nei miei pensieri…forse anche in quelli di molti!
L’esperienza, la professionalità e la capacità divulgativa del relatore hanno, con poche slide, accompagnato la platea in un terreno difficile e, per alcuni tratti, sconosciuto.
Oltre ad applaudire il Professor Cacopardo, è interessante notare dove la Chiesa è giunta nel lungo cammino che citavo: alla divulgazione scientifica, chiara e aperta al dibattito!
Sicuramente, a Monsignor Raspanti non sarà sfuggito il secondo nome del Professore…Bruno SANTI Cacopardo, anche se non sono stati i “Santi” a condurre l’incontro, la loro benedizione all’azione divulgativa non sarà certo mancata.
Il Creato ci stupisce e può spaventarci, ma conoscerlo in tutti gli aspetti, anche nell’evoluzione di un piccolo e terribile virus, ci affascina e ci prepara ad affrontare le sfide che, credenti o meno, affrontiamo e continueremo ad affrontare.
Torniamo alla BASILICA DELLA SALUTE per sostenere l’operato del Vescovo di Acireale…non so se costruirà nuove basiliche, ma sicuramente sta mettendo mattoni per la nuova Chiesa.
