Ferrari Daytona SP3

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 sports a naturally-aspirated V12, mid-rear-mounted in typical racing car style. Undisputedly the most iconic of all Maranello’s engines, this power unit delivers 840 horsepower – making it the most powerful engine ever built by Ferrari – along with 697 Nm of torque and maximum revs of 9500 rpm. The chassis is built entirely from composite materials using Formula 1 technologies that have not been seen in a road car since the la Ferrari, Maranello’s last supercar. The seat is an integral part of the chassis to reduce weight and guarantee the driver a driving position similar to that of a competition car.

EVAPORATI NEL DOLORE

Non abbiamo sentito lamento, se ne sono andati come una lacrima evaporata nel dolore.

In nome di una “scienza” barbara, egoista e ignorante hanno abbandonato i nostri vecchi senza un sorriso di conforto e di saluto. Ci siamo preoccupati di riaprire le botteghe, senza notare che quei tavoli della briscola sono rimasti vuoti, vuote le panchine, le chiese e le piazze.

Un mondo addormentato nella tiepida culla di un globalismo demenziale, capace di farci viaggiare nello spazio, ha risposto a un’emergenza alzando muri di atroci lazzaretti, negando i più elementari diritti umani, senza neppure concedere la pietà.

Forse si sono svuotati anche i cuori, lasciando morire soli i nostri vecchi: in un giro di carte se ne possono andare gli anziani, ma non così! Così non è giusto, non è dignitoso, non è cristiano!

In questa tragedia, Chiese e Governi sembrano aver trovato uno scopo comune: non soccombere prima del loro gregge.

La cava dei ricordi

I nostri ricordi non sono la storia, però li abbiamo scritti noi: né i vinti né i vincitori. Forse ci siamo fatti qualche sconto, ma non abbiamo dimenticato il dolore e l’amore; non abbiamo dimenticato le emozioni di piccole gioie e le lacrime per le nostre sconfitte o il vuoto lasciato da chi ci ha amato e abbiamo amato…ricordi di grandi eventi comuni e di momenti così privati da essere parte della nostra intimità: vecchie paure e sfide superate affollano ancora le nostre notti e l’alba nuova.

Navigare ha trasformato il cuore in una cava di ricordi e non solo per le troppe volte che il pensiero ha raggiunto l’amore, la casa e gli oggetti lasciati al tempo in distanze infinite: abbiamo fatto spazio a meravigliosi equipaggi, al tonfo del mare sulla prua, al vento, al freddo, a nebbie interminabili, a paure, a tante partenze, a lunghi viaggi e a felici arrivi. Abbiamo, forse, vago ricordo del tempo, ma possiamo chiamare ogni momento con il nome di una nave!

Anche noi siamo dispersi nel respiro del mondo e le nostre tante storie sono solo le nostre piccole storie, ma sul cielo del nostro cuore sono rimaste le stelle, è rimasta la muta meraviglia del ripetersi del creato e la certezza di aver vissuto fenomeni di atti unici.

It seems Alfa Romeo is one of those brands that refuse to step away from traditions and move on with the times. Over the last decade or so, the Italian company has come up with some great models, but their business strategy hasn’t been what you would call sustainable. However, this may be about to change, as the Italian car company recently stated that we will be getting a new model every year until 2026, and from 2027 onwards, all models of the brand will be electrified.

Il sacrificio di Maria Avegno

….il comandante del Croesus diede l’ordine di entrare nella rada di S. Fruttuoso alla massima velocità per arenarsi sulla spiaggia e salvare il maggior numero di vite umane. Ma la nave fu rapidamente avvolta dalle fiamme e i militari per salvarsi si gettarono in mare anche se molti non sapevano neanche nuotare. In loro soccorso accorsero gli abitanti del borgo con numerose  barche da pesca.

Ferrari continues to be an ever-present figure when it comes to producing some of the world’s most revered and sought after exotic automobiles. Striking a fine balance between forward-looking innovation, while still keeping true to its heritage.

The Ferrari SF90 Spider has now been unveiled as Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid roadster with close to 1,000 hp. The car is the open-top version of the SF90 Stradale. It maintains many of the Stradale’s specs, including a 211 mph top speed. It will do a 0-60 mph time in just 2.5 seconds.

The SF90 Spider features a retractable hardtop that’s made of aluminum. This saves around 88 pounds over other traditional materials, according to Autoblog. However, the Spider still weighs 220 pounds more than the Stradale. The Spider’s roof can be lowered in 14 seconds and operated when the car is standing still or at low speeds.

There’s also a powered rear window that can be raised even when the top is down. This provides a bit more wind protection. Ferrari didn’t stop there in terms of airflow around the cockpit. The central trim piece between the seats also manages to channel air away from the occupants.

L’ENERGIE NUCLEAIRE EN AFRIQUE… UNE BONNE AFFAIRE ?

Alors qu’une dizaine de pays africains projettent de se tourner vers le nucléaire civil et ont annoncé leur intention de se doter d’une centrale.

Le continent possède 20 % des réserves mondiales d’uranium. Mais le nucléaire civil représente moins de 2 % de sa production énergétique. Potentielle solution pour pallier le déficit d’électricité de l’Afrique, l’énergie atomique séduit de plus en plus. Une dizaine d’États ont déjà annoncé leur intention de se doter d’une centrale. Pour les puissances étrangères, cet engouement est un enjeu commercial de taille et l’occasion d’asseoir un peu plus leur influence sur le continent. Alors que la Chine et la Russie multiplient les projets, les États-Unis tentent de rentrer dans la course.

L’Agence internationale de l’énergie n’est pas aussi optimiste que les pays africains. Selon elle, la part de nucléaire dans la production énergétique du continent ne va pas beaucoup augmenter dans les années à venir. En cause, son coût de production, moins compétitif que le renouvelable, mais aussi l’instabilité politique et le contexte sécuritaire tendu des pays intéressés.

Africa’s middle classes are already growing rapidly, with one in three people now believed to be living above the poverty line, even if not among the wealthy. Meanwhile, the staggering 1.1 billion – around 42% of the continent’s population – is projected to reach middle-class status by 2060.
Of the 54 African countries, South Africa is still considered the continent’s first powerhouse and a gateway to many other African countries. But with 173.6 million citizens growing their GDP by 200% in just ten years, Nigeria is regarded as Africa’s new power actor.
